“Oophaga vicentei × Oophaga pumilio”, BioArt, Exhibition at the Museum of Natural History, Stockholm

IN RECENT YEARS I have studied how the principles and practices contained within the concept of hybridity can appear in the inter-disciplinary context. An example of such work is “Oophaga vicentei × Oophaga pumilio”, a research project in which I investigated how hybrid processes (hybridization) appear and promote a discourse within a biological context. For more information see the Museum of Natural History website.

The project consisted of breeding a living hybrid, fertile, frog that was shown in a Solo Exhibition at the Museum of Natural History in Stockholm, May 20 – Jun 7 2010.
